The Music and Literacy Programme of the Erdiston Special School at Pine Hill, St. Michael, is well on the way to achieving enhanced literacy and learning for students following a donation of funds and equipment from Republic Bank.

Barbados has recorded its third successful living-donor kidney transplant operation over the past nine months conducted at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with the support of international charity Transplant Links Community and sponsor Republic Bank.

Republic Bank has celebrated the success of children of staff members who completed the recent Barbados Secondary Schools' Examination (BSSEE) familiarly known as the Common Entrance Examination, presenting them with RightStart Gift Certificates to assist with their transition into secondary school.
