Will I receive a new debit card?

No. Your Republic Bank Visa Debit Card will not be changing.

Will my money be kept safe during the switchover process?

Yes, your funds are kept safe throughout the entire process.

Will the debit card/s function differently?

No, you will still be prompted to select your type of account (chequing or savings) when using your debit card. You can continue to access your account in branch or at any ATM or point of sale terminal where the VISA logo is displayed.

Can I use my Republic Bank debit card at other ATMs?

Yes. Your Republic Bank Visa Debit card, with chip and PIN technology, can still be used at other Bank ATMs. Other bank charges is determined by their fee structure and cost.

Will my debit card work locally, regionally and internationally?

Yes. Your debit card will work locally, regionally and internationally. Other bank charges, as defined by the respective banks, will remain in effect whenever you use your debit card at these banks’ machines.
