ATMs Questions

ATM and online services will be unavailable in Barbados on the following dates: September 29 to October 1, 2023.

We encourage you to withdraw cash for use over this period and make any scheduled online payments beforehand.

ATM and online services will be restored on the following dates:
• October 1, 2023, at 8 pm

The Bank will be closed on October 2, and will reopen on October 3, for cash services (withdrawals only) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All services will be fully restored on October 4, 2023.

Online and POS services will also be unavailable for customers at this time. However, credit card services will be available at point-of-sale terminals and online.

Yes, point of sale terminals at merchants will not be affected at this stage of the conversion. Therefore, customers of other banks can use their debit cards at point-of-sale terminals during this period.

Yes. Our Cardless Cash feature will be added. With Cardless Cash you can send funds to anyone with a mobile phone, even to yourself. Funds can then be withdrawn from any one of our ATMs, without the use of a card. Stay tuned for more information.

• Ensure that all your information (contact, employment, marital status, etc.) is still accurate. If you have any new information or would like to review your current information, please contact us at (246) 227-2700.
• Take note of when the conversion switchover period is taking place. We will keep you informed of these dates and other information throughout the whole process, via email, letters, social media, and our website.
• Download your e-statements. We recommend downloading and saving a year’s worth of statements for your records.
